Like the Copper, this is one of my all-time favorites and warrants its own page. Nothing really needs to be put down here, but it’s a great river. The classic run is from Tangle Lakes to Miller Mine. It can be done as an overnight – but throw in another day and take the time for a hike. This was my first serious overnight canoe trip – done with my dad, while I was in junior high – 1964. I’ve been down every few years ever since. I think it’s time for another trip…
