This is *very* early in the discussion phase of this, but I’m putting up this page as a place to put links as we talk to others.

As in the original move to Bellingham, moving to a new location can be a daunting thing to do. Wouldn’t it be nice to have some connections to the community that you move to? As we consider life in a down-sized location (both total amount of stuff and also number of daily responsibilities), wouldn’t it be nice to have some friends around to share stories while sitting around in the sun?

  • A place that I always think back to is Panorama City – My grandmother and great aunt (and uncle) moved here in the late 60’s, more or less when it opened up. I visited them for years, starting while I was in college. I think of it as the ‘gold standard’ (and expensive). Panorama City – Lacey, WA (just north of Olympia)
