A whole web page about dish pans? But these are so nice!

Washing dishes

For years we used the standard plastic dish pans – and also carried a couple of large pots for heating water. Which led to awkward packing of the kitchen box. Then we found stainless steel steam table pans. These are the pans that you see in most any restaurant buffet line.

They work as large pots to heat water on the stove, plus they are then indestructible dish pans.

We got the half size, 6″ deep. Also, don’t forget to get 1 or 2 lids. (1/2 Size Standard Weight Anti-Jam Stainless Steel Steam Table / Hotel Pan – 6″ Deep (4070269))

One word of caution – if you put two on a two-burner stove, it may limit the air flow under the pots and it might get *very* hot under them – Make sure your stove can take it. (Or just use one at a time)

We have ordered from the Webstaurantstore and gotten excellent, quick service.
