This is a great little park outside of Lynden, Washington, only a few miles from the Canadian border. The old farm used to belong to my great-grandmother’s cousin and his wife, Hans and Lida Berthusen. They donated it as a park to the city of Lynden. It now has some beautiful old-growth forest with hiking trails, as well as an old barn, purported to be the largest in Whatcom County when it was built soon after 1900. Historylink.org (Encyclopedia of Washington State History) has a bit more history on Berthusen Park

It now hosts the Puget Sound Antique Tractor and Machinery Assoc. show during the first weekend of every August. Not only do they show the old machinery, but they fire them up and drive them around!

And check out this old saw!
