LabView features for RobotC users
LabView has a couple of very easy-to-use features that allow one to
immediately test out some features on a robot and to test drive. Even if you are
doing all of your serious programming with RobotC, I would recommend
setting up LabView on an NXT brick. Given that LabView is supplied to all FTC teams
for free, there is minimal cost for this.
- The Schematic Editor
allows you to test the wiring and action of all of the components
(motors, servos, and sensors) on your robot. You can also check
settings for servos - the movement of an arm for example.
- The Remote Control Editor
allows you to immediately test-drive your robot, using several
different standard configurations. It would be excellent for
drivers to test out the difference between tank-drive vs. arcade-drive
modes, as well as to test different drive trains on basic robots.
