The Anchorage Daily News published an interview with a sometime Alaskan to Bellingham, Dan O'Neill, discussing the book, The Firecracker Boys, recently re-issued. I took the liberty of saving the interview on this site, in that it will disappear off the ADN page at some point.
The Living, by Annie Dillard is a classic novel discussing life in the Bellingham area during the end of the 19th century.
